Guide to Mining is a great complement toEngineering, as having Mining will allow you to farm the vast majority ofmaterials you will need to both train and utilize Engineering for crafted itemin the endgame. Due to the amount of bars used to craft items near max skilllevel, it can get extremely costly very quickly; having mining greatly mitigatesthis cost.

In Cataclysm, you no longer need to visit different trainers to learn newranks of Engineering.Every trainer will now be able to each you all ranks in any major city.
