My son, Sawyer was chosen for an exceptional assignment for D-Day, and his journey to Normandy Beach yesterady was truly remarkable. The man carrying the flag had lost his brothers in the 1944 beach landing, and he returns each year to honor their memory. Sawyer displayed respect and compassion by saluting him and offering water, as the man had been standing for hours. The moment was deeply moving for him and leaves me feeling incredibly proud.

I’ve been honored to serve as the Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk for the last four years. This isn’t just a position for me, it’s an opportunity for change and a way to provide good government to the people who elected me. The Criminal Court Clerk’s Office has accomplished a lot during my first term and I look forward to continuing the progress. I’m asking all those in Memphis and Shelby County to Keep Kuhn in 2022! #vote2022 #keepkuhn

I am extremely honored to receive the 2021 “Difference Maker of the Year” award from the Southern Justice Summit. I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for the work of the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office in regard to expungements. Receiving this award would not have been possible without the dedication, understanding and commitment to my vision by my team, for whom I have the deepest respect and appreciation.

The Expungement Clinic was a tremendous success! We had 500+ people attend on Saturday and it couldn’t have gone better. We were able to help many people and I’m excited for them and their new opportunities. I greatly appreciated Hope Church for providing the venue, it was exactly where we needed to be in order to accommodate all the people who attended. Additionally, I couldn’t have done this without the amazing Criminal Court Clerk’s staff, their expertise, patience and kindness was recognized and appreciated.
