How do I get my Authenticator app? ›

Morgan Stanley uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of your account. For 2FA, Morgan Stanley supports the use of the Authenticator App by 2Stable, among other options.

Google Authenticator app generates a six-digit code for you to enter when you log in. The code changes about every minute. Once you have set up the connection with ACF's site, every time that you log out of your ACF account you will need to use Google Authenticator to regain access when you login again.

If you still have access to your old Authenticator and aren't using cloud backup, you can easily restore all of your accounts onto a new device by scanning your QR code with that device. The only way to recover Authenticator if you've lost your phone and weren't using cloud backup is to back up your QR code in advance.

You will need to repeat this registration process for each account or group of accounts held with a different Branch, Financial Advisor, Address or Employee Status.

This app generates a time-sensitive code that you must enter, along with your password, when logging in to your E*Trade account. This added layer of security helps protect against unauthorized access.
