Ex-Trump attorney Jenna Ellis told Georgia prosecutors that a top presidential aide said to her in December 2020 that "the boss" did not plan to leave the White House "under any circ*mstances," according to a video recording obtained by WaPo. washingtonpost.com/national-secur…
Jenna Ellis told prosecutors that ex-Trump aide Dan Scavino was unfazed by her view that Trump was running out of options to challenge Biden's win.
"And he said to me, you know, in a kind of excited tone, 'Well, we don't care, and we're not going to leave,'" Ellis said.
In another vid, ex-Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro disclosed that at a previously unreported W.H. meeting, he briefed Trump on election challenges in Arizona and summarized a memo on fake electors.
Chesebro's recollection could provide evidence Trump was aware of the elector plan.

FOLLOW ALONG: To be clear, Trump, Nauta and De Oliveira tried to delete video at Mar-a-Lago last summer, prosecutors said in the new indictment.
According to the indictment, in late June 2022, the Justice Department twice communicated that a grand jury was issuing a subpoena requesting video from Mar-a-Lago. Clarence Thomas accepted luxury trips around the globe for more than two decades, including travel on a superyacht and private jet, from a prominent Republican donor without disclosing them, according to a new ProPublica report. propublica.org/article/claren…
ProPublica: Clarence Thomas typically spends about a week every summer at Republican donor Harlan Crow's private resort in the Adirondacks. Thomas has vacationed at Crow's ranch in East Texas and has joined Crow at the Bohemian Grove, an exclusive all-male retreat in California.
ProPublica cites a nine-day trip that Clarence and Ginni Thomas took to Indonesia in 2019. That trip, which included flights on Harlan Crow's jet and island-hopping on a superyacht, would have cost the couple more than $500,000 if they had paid for it themselves.
